Mortgage Website Marketing)
Are you looking for a great mortgage web site design? Or
do you want to create your own mortgage broker web site from
scratch? We have done both. And I can tell you from experience,
that having a mortgage web site created for you is much easier.
But not always more effective.
There are dozens of companies that offer mortgage web sites.
Some are very expensive, and some are very cheap. If you buy your
own mortgage web site template, you could pay as little as
$30. But all you get is a one page site with no features.
If you can afford it, you can pay several thousand dollars to have
someone do some mortgage web site design for your site. Or to have
someone to build mortgage web site for you. But then you
have to pay every time you want something changed. Unless you know
a lot of html. (The programming language most mortgage broker web
sites are written in.)
The best, easiest, and most time effective way is to contract with
one of the companies that provide turn key mortgage web sites. But
even then, you have to be careful.
Our mortgage company, MoneyTree Mortgage signed with the largest
company in the industry providing these mortgage broker web sites.
And we were very disappointed. When we tried to add a simple
link to the homepage, they charged us $60! Adding a link takes less
than 1 minute. We were stuck with their ugly graphics, and would
have to pay several hundred dollars to change anything.
But still, we were able to generate some traffic there, and do
take loan apps from the site. So at least, it has paid for itself.
Beware: 99% of mortgage web site companies do not help you get
people to your mortgage web site. All they do is design and host
the site on their computers. It is then your job to get people there.
We thought we would try some Search Engine Optimization for our
site to have it appear on the search engines. Guess what? We were
not allowed. Unless of course we paid them over a thousand dollars
more.
That's when I decided to create my own site again. I was tired
of having my hands tied behind my back when I wanted to make changes
to my own mortgage web site, even after I paid a couple thousand
dollars. So I put together a list of all the things I would want
in my dream mortgage web site. This is what I came up with.
I should be able to:
- afford it easily. It should pay for itself in less than one
loan
- add pages to my site and it should be very easy to do so. I
don't want to become an expert in html
- have several email addresses
- have my own domain name: www.mymortgagecompany.com
- have visitors fill out pre-quals, and complete 1003s on the
site. And have that information safe from thieves and hackers.
- take that info and import it into my loan processing software
easily.
- be notified by email when someone fills out a loan app online.
- be able to generate leads, by offering free information in the
form of several different reports or email classes
- be able to follow up with visitors via unlimited time-delayed
emails. This will automate the follow up process for me.
- have the system automatically email all the parties involved
in a loan (listing agent, selling agent, borrower, seller, builder,
etc.) when the loan file is updated. This will stop agents and
others calling me for loan updates. This will also show my professionalism
and result in more referrals.
- automatically email prospects when the interest rate they are
looking for is hit. (Rate Alert)
- make changes to the site for search engine optimization
- change the design of my site in seconds. - Have dozens of mortgage
web site templates to choose from
- have surveys and questionnaires
- have an email newsletter
- have pop-ups
- input all my rates and have them update automatically
- have several mortgage calculators that I can use for other applications
as well
- send personalized email blasts to my lists
- provide pages on my site to my referral partners
- have a link exchange to generate links to my site
- allow me to sell other's products as an affiliate if I choose
- have scrolling text that will float across the screen
- be available to visitors 24/7 without fail
- have free phone support if I ever have a question
- be affordable
- track my visitors and give complete stats on where my visitors
are coming from, what they do on my site, for how long, and a
host of others.
This was just the first list I came up. Later I added even more
features that I had to have on my website.
Then I went looking for a mortgage web site design company that
provided all these features. Guess what? No one does.
Not one mortgage web site design company out there today offers
all these features, which I believe are crucial to having the most
effective, automatic mortgage web site.
Face it - what good is a mortgage web site if you have to fiddle
with it all the time? I want my site to be hands-off. I don't want
to touch it unless I am looking at my leads or doing some marketing.
My ideal mortgage broker web site should be totally automated.
It should be generating leads, following up with those leads, and
converting them to applications, that it takes itself while I am
off on vacation in the Bahamas.
And so I set out to find a mortgage web site design company that
can design a website with all these features and more. The first
company I approached, had many of these features. They were excited
about working with MortgageBrokerTraining.com and they said they
could provide our customers will everything we needed.
But they couldn't. For whatever reason they felt adding all these
features would be too expensive for them and they bailed out. They
would rather sell a product that limits what you can do then do
what is necessary to sell a quality mortgage web site.
Luckily I was approached by another company, that wanted to work
together. I showed them all the features I wanted, and they set
to work right away. In time, I believe we will make available to
most comprehensive mortgage broker web site available in the market
today.

between a mortgage web site design company, and the leader in mortgage
marketing and training products in the industry.
A mortgage broker web site, that any computer novice can use. That

in processing, and lets you reap the benefit.
